Blor 4: books
I have always liked books, even though now at college I only read what I have to, because it is too much. However, there is a book that I read at least once a year only because I love it; Santa María de las Flores Negras, by Hernán Rivera Letelier. It is a novel about real and fictitious characters who live an historical tragedy in the north of Chile where "salitre" workers used to live one of the worst miseries of human history. At the beginning of the twentieth century, thousands of workers made their way through the Atacama desert to protest in the city of Iquique for better living conditions.

I chose this book because it was the first one that read from Rivera Letelier, but I recommend all of his work. He is one of my favorite writers because he makes you fall in love with the story in a way that you will be devastated when it ends, and the most amazing thing is that you bring to memory characters and some of the most horrible injustices which no one should ever forget.
